Key Responsibilities
As a Kitchen General Helper, you will:
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Transport food pans, trays, and kettles safely between workstations, stoves, and refrigerators.
- Store food properly, ensuring wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures are followed.
- Set up daily items for purchase and maintain cleanliness in food prep areas.
- Dispose of trash and garbage according to safety standards.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment efficiently.
- Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, temperature control, and portion sizes.
- Serve customers courteously and resolve any concerns with professionalism.
- Maintain sanitation and safety compliance at all times.
- Provide retail service including cashier duties and line serving.
