Role Overview
WiZDOM Group is looking for a full-time Senior Tax Accountant who has specialized mastery as well as an enthusiasm for interfacing with clients through different mediums. Qualifications
To be successful in this role and in order to get selected, candidates should have;
- Recent experience in public practice.
- Two (2) years or more, Senior Tax Accountant experience is required.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of accounting principles and rules along with the best practices.
- Experience with tax lodgments and preparation.
- Annual audit and SMSF compliance understanding.
- Financial information analysis ability and ability to prepare financial reports.
- Must be proficient with different software related to the position of Senior Tax Accountant like Xero, Class, etc, and of course MS Office Suite especially MS Excel.
- Building relationships with clients and other stakeholders is important and being a senior tax accountant one must possess excellent communication skills along with interpersonal skills.
- CPA or CA qualifications are highly preferred.
- Registration as Tax Agent.

Responsibilities
The Senior Tax Accountant at WiZDOM Group will be responsible for:
Client Interaction and Advisory
Client Engagement: Be proactive with your approaches and connect with existing and future clients using different and efficient communication channels.
Advisory Services: Provide expert advice to clients and offer insights and strategic solutions according to financial needs.
Technical Expertise
Tax Preparation: Handling tax preparation is the responsibility of the Senior Tax accountant. Prepare taxes and hold lodgment processes, of course under the policies and law.
SMSF Compliance: Management of SMSF compliance matters and supervises the yearly audit process.
Financial Analysis and Reporting
Financial Information Analysis:
Keep financial data safe and analyze this data. Prepare detailed financial reports for clients according to requirements.
Accounting Software: Understanding and utilizing different accounting software proficiently like Xero, Class, etc
Professional Qualifications
CPA or CA: Must hold or working towards CPA or CA qualifications.
Tax Agent Registration: Maintain current Tax Agent Registration
