Job Overview
Decon Company is looking for an accomplished Telecommunications Technician Professional to join its dynamic group at the Rydalmere office in Western Australia. Reporting to the group leader of the rigging team, the successful candidates will work together with riggers as the ground colleagues associated with the establishment and upkeep of media and telecommunications network systems.
Telecommunications Technician Responsibilities at Decon Corporation
- Installation and Maintenance Support:
- Provision and installation, moves, additions changes, and maintenance. Also, repair and support for customer telecommunications equipment and systems.
- Manage radio network system and handle installation processes along with maintenance of it.
- Supervise maintenance and installation of Mobile data networks.
Survey and Quality Assurance:
Make sure the network functionality is optional, and conduct a survey of the line of sight to assist network functionality.
Ensure task exhibit quality is good and at maximum level, and it should meet the criteria of Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Review finished works to guarantee conformance to design and specific equipment, following functional and safety standards
Equipment Management:
Guarantee that all organization-provided vehicles, test gear, devices, and Personal Protective Hardware (PPE) are dealt with and kept up with in a useful condition.

Qualifications
Applicants must possess certain qualities and education to get selected for the position of Telecommunications Technician;
- Commitment to safety hazards and safe working places.
- Prior experience in the industry of telecommunication.
- A diploma or a degree in telecommunication field or electrical engineering. Electrical engineering is highly preferred for this role.
- The cabling license of Telecommunication or a commitment to get that license. Fibre endorsement is highly required.
- White card of industry constructions.
- Driver’s license of Australia for a manual vehicle.
- Experience in installing or supporting certain mobile networks such as Nokia, Huawei, Ericsson RBS, and WCDMA/LTE preferred.
- Antenna maintenance and installation knowledge on different places like rooftops and towers.
- Basic knowledge of transmission systems. PDH, SDH, ATM, and other packet-switched networks.
